Wade Simmons Mountain Bike Helmet

I recently had the opportunity to paint the helmet of one of my long time favorite riders and friend Wade Simmons.  I designed the helmet as if it was a street bike helmet because of its over all roundness in shape.   I used my own mixtures of "Maserati Black"  and "Slime Green"  in the design and we were both very pleased with the results.  I presented the helmet to Wade at the 2008 Crankworx festival in Whistler which was a pretty special experience for me.  Thanks to Wade for the opportunity and hope to work on more projects with you in the future.  photos by Eliot May
