Geoff Gulevich 2011

Featuring his fellow Canadians, Terrance and Philip, this Pro-Tec helmet for Geoff Gulevich is packed with custom features.

The stacked Rocky Mountain Bicycles logos wrap around the front and side of the helmet are all hand painted, of course. The background also has a ghosted maple leaf pattern and Gully's name in the traditional South Park font.
Thanks again to Gully, Rocky Mountain, and Pro-Tec and I look forward to starting his next one soon.

Clayton Racicot

This KALI helmet was painted for professional photographer Clayton Racicot. I used pictures he took to create the motorcyclists graphics on either side.

I also used a picture of Claytons actual camera to create the graphic on the visor as well.

Tyler and Mike from pinkbike.com in the PaintHouse

Tyler Main, one of the head honchos at pinkbike.com, gave me this D3 with the freedom to create whatever I wanted. I came up with the idea to make a circuit board type graphic using multiple layers and some cool color shifting paints and flakes. The whole design was done freehand using tape and circles I cut out on a plotter.

The top is made of completely translucent pigments over the raw carbon fiber finish.
The rest of the design consists of a dark metallic green base and many layers of transparent greens and chameleon green flake that shifts from gold to green and even blue in some lights.

Mike brought me the new Giro "all mountain" helmet. He wanted a sleek, simple, and dark design. I used black, gray mixtures, and blue flake to create the design.

Patrick Switzer Returns to PaintHouse for 2011

Professional long board racer Patrick Switzer came to me with the newest handmade helmet by German manufacturer Risch Aero Helmets. The helmet and the paint job are a evolution from last years helmet design.

Good luck again to Patrick on his continued racing around the world in 2011!

Miranda Miller Pinkbike.com Team Helmet for 2011 Season

Pinkbike.com sponsored racer Miranda Miller returns to PaintHouse for the 2011 season.

The Fox V3R carbon fiber helmet features graphics inspired by The Highwaymens song "Silver Stallion". This was one of the more complex designs I've done using stencils I created on the computer with each image containing multiple shapes. All images built over a silver base using transparent black paint and finished with silver pinstriped outlines.
Thanks again to Tyler from Pinkbike.com and good luck to Miranda Miller on her 2011 race season.
